Each bottle of Admiral’s Pennant beard oil is hand-mixed to exact specifications.

The blends described below were individually crafted to bring out the best in your beard for any occasion.

Blend 1775 | Admiral's Pennant Beard Oil

1775: As the colonies engage in war against the British, some minutemen become soldiers, and some soldiers become Marines.  This year sees the birth of the Marine Corps, the Navy, the Army, and the tradition of excellence these military branches carry on to this day.

A bolder and a more complex blend with a base of patchouli oil and hints of cinnamon and lavender, this blend is very relaxing and refined. It has been described as “something I imagine my grandfather wearing if he were coming out of the woods and heading into town for a gala back in the 1950s”. 1775, a tribute to the Army, Navy, and my beloved Marine Corps, is a fantastic blend for a night out or for everyday use.

Blend 1783 | Admiral's Pennant Beard Oil

1783: Victorious in war, this year sees America earn her independence.  At Admiral’s Pennant, we celebrate victories and the end of war – 1783 is the first of many such celebrations in our nation’s history.

This is an elegantly refined blend of Sandalwood, Cedar, and Tea Tree. The subtle, lingering, woody scent of the sandalwood, light cedar, and the top notes of tea tree is the essence of masculinity, honoring the men who fought – and continue to fight – to provide us our independence.

A lively blend of Rosemary, Lemon, and Peppermint, 1797 is a great blend to start your day. It has a great awakening quality with a minty kick. Much like stepping out on the deck of a ship cruising the brisk ocean waters, this blend will give you that early morning boost.

Blend 1815 | Admiral's Pennant Beard Oil

1815: Celebrating the end of the War of 1812, America has proven to the world that she is not to be trifled with.  Dubbed the Second War of Independence, this fight to uphold national honor ended victoriously in 1815.

A moderate scent, 1815 contains a combination of fir needle, clove, and cinnamon. When you don’t have the time to get out in the woods, bring the woods to you. The fir needle and clove are reminiscent of a coniferous forest, and the touch of cinnamon adds a complement of spice that rounds out this fine blend.

Blend 1843 | Admiral's Pennant Beard Oil

1843: A nod to our brand’s inspiration, 1843 was the year that Herman Melville served under Captain Jack Chase on the U.S. Frigate United States, inspiring his book White Jacket and the coining of the term “admiral’s pennant” as a reference to a glorious beard.

The blend that started it all, this premium-quality beard oil hearkens back to a time when the beard was viewed as a prestigious facial accessory worn by men of stature. 1843 will give your beard the luxurious look and feel befitting the Admiral himself. This mixture of cedar and bergamot is relaxing, woodsy, and not overpowering.
